Unlimited Bandwidth VPS Hosting Companies

Technically there is no VPS hosting company with unlimited bandwidth. It’s impossible! Although there are many companies that advertise unlimited bandwidth VPS, it is most likely not true.

7 Unlimited Bandwidth VPS Hosting Companies

However, if you get a hi-quality company with enough bandwidth you will not have to worry about bandwidth. The problem that I have with VPS providers that claim to be unlimited is that they do not tell you how much bandwidth that you have. My goal in this article is to help you find a VPS company with a good-sized bandwidth for your business.

Why do I need VPS hosting?

VPS is a great option for a growing blog, future growth, digital media companies, ecommerce shops, resellers, app developers, those who desire more speed, and more.

What does unlimited bandwidth mean?

The more bandwidth that you have the better. Unlimited bandwidth means that there are no limits on the amount of web traffic that your website can receive.

1. Check out SiteGround.

SiteGround is unlike any company on this list. How you ask? SiteGround offers the most bandwidth at the best price. With SiteGround you can be saving $50 – $100 a month with their Entry Cloud VPS plan. This plan gives you 5TB Bandwidth for $80.00/mo. Most VPS companies only offer 3TB Bandwidth. With SiteGround you can look forward to cPanel. 300ms site speed, 99.99% uptime, lightweight Linux containers with SSD disks, auto-scalable resources, free CDN & multiple server locations, Apache/Nginx & CentOS, and IP Tables Firewall.

2. Check out TMDHosting.

TMDHosting is a great Florida based web hosting company that happens to offer VPS hosting. One of the benefits of going with TMD is that they offer a monthly hosting plan. Their VPS1 option starts at $35.95/mo. This plan includes 40GB SSD Space, 3TB bandwidth, 2CPUs, 2GB DDR4 RAM, and CentOS. I believe this plan offers more than enough bandwidth for most websites. However, VPS2 60 SSD storage, 4TB Bandwidth, 2 CPUs, and 3 GB DDR4 RAM. This plan is going to cost you $53.95/mo.

4. Check out Media Temple.

Media Temple was founded in 1998 by Demian Sellfors and John Carey. Media Temple is known for their great web hosting performance. Media Temple pricing starts at $55/mo. Media Temple has 6 VPS plans that you can choose from.

Their Level 1 pricing plan includes 2GB RAM, 30GB storage, and 2TB bandwidth. For those who desire more bandwidth for their business I strongly recommend going with their Level 2 plan. This plan costs $100/mo and it comes with 4GB Ram, 50GB
storage, and 3TB bandwidth.

Their Level 3 plan is going to cost you $150 a month and this plan has 8GB Ram, 100GB storage, and 5TB bandwidth. Their next 3 plans cost $350/mo, $750/mo, and $1,500/mo. The cool thing about Media Temple is that they also have unmanaged VPS hosting. Unmanaged hosting plans are only for those who know how to manage their own servers. These plans are always slightly cheaper but they are more difficult to handle than managed servers. Unmanaged VPS is not for beginners.

Here are some features that you can look forward to.

  • 1-click installs of 200+ apps
  • Automatic backups
  • Choose between Plesk or cPanel control panel
  • Performance & security scans
  • All-SSD storage
  • The latest versions of PHP, MySQL, Perl, Python, Ruby, and more come pre-installed.
  • DDoS & intrusion protection

5. Check out Bluehost.

Bluehost was founded by Matt Heaton and Danny Ashworth in December of 2003. Bluehost VPS claims to offer unlimited bandwidth. Although I highly doubt it Bluehost is still known to have great web hosting performance.

  • All VPS plans includes an improved cPanel interface.
  • High-performance components.
  • CloudFlare – directly built into your account.
  • Unique IPs
  • Site Backup Pro
  • OpenStack and KVM
  • Free domain with hosting.
  • Instant Provisioning
  • Multi-Server Management
  • Access Control
  • Secure Shell (SSH) access

6. Check out Dreamhost.

Dreamhost is one of the cheaper VPS hosting companies on this list. The only downside to using Dreamhost is that DH does not offer a VPS with cPanel.

DH offers their own custom control panel. Dreamhost VPS starts at $15/mo which is $180 a year. When you pay 1 year upfront you get 1 month free. Instead of paying $180/yr you will instead pay $165/yr.

With their basic $15/mo plan you will receive 1GB RAM, 30GB SSD storage, and unlimited domains. Their most popular plan is their $30 plan. This plan gives you 2GB RAM and 60GB SSD storage.

DreamHost’s Go Bigger option doubles the amount of Ram and SSD storage that your website receives. Instead of 2GB Ram you will receive 4GB Ram and instead of 60 SSD storage you will receive 120 SSD storage.

Here are some Dreamhost features that will come with your hosting plan.

  • PHP5/Perl/Python
  • Node.js
  • Ruby Version Manager (RVM)
  • Nginx
  • XCache
  • Secure Shell (SSH)
  • Phusion Passenger
  • Crontab Access
  • Subversion Repository (SVN)
  • Access to Raw Log Files
  • Unlimited MySQL Databases
  • IPv4 and IPv6
  • SSL/TLS Certificates with Let’s Encrypt
  • Password Protection (.htaccess)

7. Check out IX webhosting.

IX webhosting started in 1999 in someone’s living room. Now they offer shared, VPS, and cloud hosting. IX provides a Tier 3 n +1 redundant data center that keeps your site up to the max.

Their X4 Linux plan which was $74.95/mo, now costs $54.95/mo. With this plan you will receive 4xCPU Cores, 768MB Guaranteed RAM, 1500GBData Transfer, 50GB Storage, 2 Dedicated IPs, Unlimited hosted domains, and more.

My recommendation.

TMDHosting offers a lot for a cheap price. However, I found that SiteGround is the best provider in this article. SG excels in hosting performance and you are given 5TB Bandwidth, which is more than the other companies on this list.

Media Temple has a 5TB Bandwidth plan but it’s going to cost you $150/mo. Follow the setup guide below to create a new website in 5 minutes and start ranking today.
